Worksheets for classrooms

I have created worksheets for my kids’ classrooms, in celebration and awareness of disability.

My hope is these ideas will help other families, teachers, education assistants + friends have better resources to create awareness within classrooms, and start conversations about how beautiful our differences can be.

Based on the Book “What Does it Mean to be Smart” by Kelly Shuto, this worksheet encourages kids to think outside of traditional ideas and challenges them to think of what smart really means. Smart is being creative, being true to yourself, creating something new and dreaming big.

FOr Parents

‘Get To Know Me’ is an important tool for parents to advocate for practical and essential support for their child right from day one in the classroom. This sheet breaks down the ways to ‘get to know’ a child with support needs easily. For teachers, principals, SSA’s and a great resource for substitute teachers / supports.
